The Fanwood-Scotch Plains Service League Thrift Shop located at 1741 East Second Street in Scotch Plains is ready for Halloween! The shop’s annual Halloween costume sale starts on Tuesday, October 4th. Shopping for your Trick or Treaters? Among our large children’s collection, shoppers may find that favorite character. Besides gently used costumes, shoppers will find a selection of new costumes at reasonable prices.
Costume accessories like masks, hats, scarves, shoes, gloves and other props will also be available along with some vintage clothing items. Merchandise will be replenished throughout the month. If you are looking for something in particular, shop volunteers will be available to check the stock not yet on display. Also, the shop always has plenty of flannel shirts and jeans at modest prices for dressing up your scarecrows.
The staff invites local theater groups to come and look through our collection. We have costumes suitable for theatrical productions.
