FREE Seminar at Clark Public Library: College Financial Aid: Get Your Fair Share

How to Apply for College Financial Aid, Obtain your FSA ID, Complete FAFSA forms, and Maximize Federal and School Aid

The Clark Public Library is hosting a FREE seminar, College Financial Aid: Getting your Fair Share, on Monday, December 7 at 7 PM.

Applying to college is an exciting and emotional journey for you and your student. Figuring out how to pay for it can be a very stressful, time consuming process. Once college applications are finalized and mailed, the next step that many parents are unaware of and unprepared to do is completing and filing the federal financial aid forms including FAFSA, CSS Profile, and other school forms. But failure to file these forms, or doing so incorrectly or at the wrong time, can have a significant impact on how much you ultimately end up paying out of pocket for college.


At this free, informative library workshop, Marie Mayer, Certified College Financial Aid Advisor, will demystify the new FSA ID registration process and completing the complicated FAFSA form and CSS Profile, and will explain how your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) is calculated. She will also cover:
