Garwood Girl Scout goes for Gold Award
Jessica Moore a Girl Scout from Troop 40446 is working on her Gold Award. A Gold Award is the highest award a girl can earn in Girl Scout. She has been a Garwood Girl Scout for the past 11 years with Troop 40446. She is part of the Clark Garwood Winfield Girl Scouts Service Unit #53. Jessica has earned her Bronze and Silver Awards and is now working on her Gold with a Musical Recycling Day on June 27, 2015 at the Fanwood Recycling Center in Fanwood NJ. She will be collecting gently used musical instruments that will be cleaned and refurbished and then distributed to the Union County Schools.
If you have any instruments that are no longer being played and could go to enhance a child’s musical program in our schools please bring them to the Fanwood Recycling Center on June 27, 2015. If you cannot make that date you can email Jessica at musicalrecycling@yahoo.com for pickup of your musical instrument.
