GARWOOD, NJ — 2020 is right around the corner and with the new year and new decade about to start many government officials are looking ahead.

Garwood Mayor Sara Todisco's 2020 New Year resolution is to increase engagement with the business community.

"My top priority for 2020 is increasing the engagement between our local government and business community. Our Borough's motto is 'small town with a big heart,' and this year I am fitting it into my program called 'small town, open for business.' We already have a good connection as we are active with the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce, but for 2020, I am eager to do more," Todisco said.

"For example, I will be launching a local business tour/interview video series, where I will go around to any businesses interested in participating to talk about what they do, why they chose Garwood, etc.," Todisco said.

Todisco is currently serving her first term as Mayor after her 8 year tenure on the Borough Council. Her term began in 2019 and will run through 2022.
