Players leave the field to spend quality time with kids.
The Arthur L. Johnson Crusaders varsity football team, led by Head Coach Michael Mancino, visited First Children School in Fanwood on Thursday, Aug. 18.
First Children School offers classes for kids ages three through 11 who have developmental delays related to autism, communication, orthopedic, learning, behavorial or medical issues.
"The Crusaders interacted with the students and teachers and had a fun and exciting day with the children," said ALJ Athletic Director Gus Kalikas. "When it was over, it was clear that everyone involved in the day not only learned some valuable lessons, but had a great time interacting with the children."
