St. John's is Reaccredited by Middle States Association

in Clark has announced its recent reaccreditation by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSCESSA). 

This recognition was announced following the Commissions’ March 2012 meeting. St. John the Apostle School was one of approximately 200 schools honored. 

St. John the Apostle School has been accredited by the MSCESSA for the third time. This accreditation signifies that the educational community of St. John the Apostle School has engaged in a rigorous process of developing self-knowledge, has hosted an evaluation team of independently-appointed educators, and has created an on-going strategic plan to move school improvement forward.

This 16-month process was governed by the steering committee, co-chaired by MaryAnn Chopey and Susan Luciano. Many members of the St. John the Apostle community including the pastor, priests, faculty, school boards, parents and the students themselves joined in the process of self-evaluation.

Currently celebrating its 60th year, in Washington, DC. Sr. Donna Marie O’Brien has served as principal of the school for more than 25 years.
