Students Mourn Death Of Clark High School Senior
Breaking: Counselors are available for students to grieve following the death of a Arthur L. Johnson High School senior Monday night.

CLARK, NJ — The Clark School District is mourning a Arthur L. Johnson High School senior who died Monday night.
Edward Grande, Clark Superintendent of Schools sent a letter to parents reporting the death and announcing that counselors will be available for students to grieve.
"I am writing to you with great sadness that one of our ALJ seniors passed away this evening. Our deepest sympathies go out to her family and friends," Grande said.

Counselors from Union County’s Traumatic Loss Coalition for Youth Program (TLC) will be on site working alongside the high school counselors throughout the day Tuesday assisting students who are affected by this death.
Counseling will also be available as needed for Carl H. Kumpf Middle School students.

"We understand that not all students will be impacted by this tragedy in the same way and we plan to maintain our usual routine while at the same time providing flexibility in the schedule for those that are grieving," Grande said. "We will provide grief-counseling services for those students who require assistance for as long as this assistance is needed."
Parents concerned about their child are urged to contact the Guidance Office and arrangements will be made for him or her to be seen by one of the school's counselors.
