Third Grade Breakfast Bunch Talks Collecting
Vincent Caputo, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, shared his baseball cards with students.

Breakfast Bunch-ers talked collecting this week. Third grade students from Frank K. Hehnly School in Clark posed with Cindy Tarello, Gifted and Talented Instructor, and Vincent Caputo, Director of Curriculum and Instruction after their morning chat.
Tarello has scheduled these morning sessions monthly at both elementary schools. Since this is an enrichment-for-all activity, any student who is interested in the topic is invited to attend.
At this session, Caputo discussed the hobby of collecting. In particular, he shared with the students some of his baseball cards and other signed memorabilia. Tarello proudly shared with the students her signed Derek Jeter photo.

The students, not necessarily all baseball fans, were asked to share the kinds of things they collect. Tarello has invited other district and community members in to present at future Breakfast Bunch events. All students are invited to attend and bring breakfast. Upcoming topics will include jewelry-making and entrepreneurship.
