There are people in your community right now who are faced with a terminal illness. You can help by providing support for them and their families, with your time and presence, for as little as 1-2 hours a week.

Make a difference in the final journey of someone’s life.

Some visits might include:

· Conversation

· Reading

· Watching T.V.

· Taking walks,

· Playing music, playing an instrument bedside,

· Talking about their life and their family, or shared silence.

Homeside Hospice is a nurse-owned hospice with a commitment to provide the highest level of physical, emotional and practical support to our patients, their care-givers and families. As a volunteer you will provide the sort of care and help that a loving friend provides. After your training you will volunteer within your community according to the schedule that works for you.
