Bernie Sanders Takes Aim At Donald Trump During Atlantic City Rally
The Democratic candidate for president appeared in Atlantic City Monday morning.

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders took shots at Republican candidate Donald Trump and billionaire Carl Icahn during an appearance in Atlantic City Monday morning, the Courier Post reports.
He said the current state of Atlantic City’s casinos encapsulates the greed that he says is the problem all across America, according to the report.
Four casinos closed in 2014, leaving about 8,000 people out of work.

Three casinos once had Trump’s name on them, and he filed a lawsuit to get his name removed from them once he sold them, even as reports surfaced at one point that Trump may “return to save Atlantic City.”
After the rally, Icahn issued a statement, countering that Sanders had made his speech without speaking to him about the real issues first, and pointing the blame at Atlantic City union Unite Here, which endorses Sanders, according to The Press of Atlantic City.

Icahn said Unite Here has “squeezed the city’s most important employers and in the process has forced five casinos to close with thousands of jobs lost.”
