Check Out the Newly Renovated Bread Board Plus

The Bread Board Plus in Haddonfield has been newly renovated! Check out the new digs!

I heard all the buzz about how Bread Board Plus in Haddonfield got some new digs recently; being a regular, I decided to go check it out. I was totally unprepared for how much the look of things inside had changed.

I walked in to brand-new flooring, ceiling, chairs, tables, booths, EVERYTHING! I had to take a step back.

(I think my camera was overwhelmed too, because as soon as I went to take pictures, my memory card died. I had to run out and get a back up.)

Jason Wiseley (whose family owned Haddonfield’s Wiseley Jewelers) has owned the shop since 2006. I occasionally take a shot at Jason over the daily e-mail sent out with the soups and specials—all in good fun—but he had lots to say about the new renovations.

“We approach our past successes with great humility, and this felt like the perfect way to give back to a community that has supported us,” he told me.

Bread Board Plus has been a staple sandwich shop of the area for years. I have always loved coming in for the variety of menu options, but the one thing that sets it apart from everywhere else I go is the friendly service.

“Mr. Matt,” as I like to call him, has a “HEY GABE! WELCOME BACK!” for me every time I walk in. To me, that greeting and sense of welcome is what makes the Bread Board Plus homey as well as familiar.

Of course, the food here is awesome. One of my favorites is the Buffalo chicken cheesesteak. The soup is always changing and always homemade, with some form or variation of tomato (my favorite) at least once or twice a week. That alone brings me in the door, and the fresh salad bar is beyond worth the money (All You Can Eat for just over $10). I also love mooching their free WiFi!

Bread Board Plus is a nice place to get some food, meet some great people and relax. There’s a reason the shop has been around for so long. You can’t go wrong there.
