The Collingswood High School football team pushed Sterling into overtime, but it wasn’t enough to come away with the Thanksgiving Day win, according to nj.com.
Matt Mignano’s 2-yard touchdown run in overtime gave Sterling the 27-21 win.
The teams traded first quarter touchdowns, with Davon Tucker putting Sterling on the board first with the first of his two touchdown runs.

Collingswood immediately responded with a touchdown run from Marcquon Lawrence to tie the game at 7-7.

Collingswood tied the game once more in the third with two touchdowns, including a second touchdown run by Lawrence. Jordan Wallace’s touchdown pass to Isaac Destin tied the game up at 21-21.
After a scoreless fourth quarter, the teams headed to overtime, setting up Mignano’s heroics.
Collingswood was 7-4 this season.
