Collingswood High School Football Team Caps Season With Big Win

The Panthers defeated Sterling, 47-8, on Wednesday night.

Jahmir King ran for 163 yards on four carries, including two explosive touchdown runs, to lead the Collingswood High School football team to a 47-8 win over Sterling on Wednesday night, according to nj.com.

He put the Panthers on the board first with an 80-yard touchdown run, and added a 73-yard scoring run in the second.

Dashon Burdett carried the ball four times for 101 yards, including a 33-yard touchdown run.

Marcus Barr had two touchdowns, on runs of 42 and 7 yards.

The longest touchdown run of the night belonged to Zach Irwin, who went 84 yards for a score to give Collingswood a 40-0 halftime lead.

Abdul Bangura capped the scoring with a 6-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

Collingswood was 6-4 this season, including a trip to the NJSIAA South Jersey Group II playoffs.
