Collingswood High School Football Team Hands Paulsboro First Loss of the Year

Paulsboro coach Glenn Howard was denied his 250th win, according to nj.com.

The Collingswood High School football team was the first team on the board thanks to a safety, but would add two more touchdowns to pull off the upset of Paulsboro, 16-14, according to nj.com.

The Panthers improved to 2-1, and handed the Red Raiders (3-1) their first loss of the year.

The loss also denied Paulsboro coach Glenn Howard win No. 250.

The scoreless tie was broken in the third quarter when a Paulsboro snap resulted in the ball going out of the back of the end zone.

Jahmir King scored on a 49-yard touchdown run and Jordan Wallace returned a punt 46 yards for a score.

The safety made the difference as Paulsboro answered with a pair of touchdowns, but could do no better than 14 points.
