Things to bring--gently worn shoes for Soles4Souls; documents for secure shredding; Terracycle "Trash" including chip and snack bags, energy bar wrappers, candy packaging, cheese packaging, etc to be "upcycled" by the Terracycle corp. Keep packaging out of the landfills and money raised goes to Almost Home Animal Shelter (for more info about Terracycle, checkout Haddon Twp. webpage under Recycling and Sustainability); gently used clothing and household goods for Goodwill and Restore; electronic equipment (anything with a plug) for recycling; blankets, towels for NJ Aid for Animals;medicine and pharmacuticals for disposal in an environmentally secure manner. Things to do--visit booths from Westmont Farmers Market; Rizzo's Reptiles for the kids; composting seminars and sales; Gardening info from Camden County Master Gardeners; buy organic seeds without GMOs from Center for Environmental Transformation; info from Monarch Waystations; Energy Alternative info. Event held rain or shine!
