Charity Ice Cream Sale at Trinity Cranford Sunday September 17th 11:30AM

Trinity Cranford is holding an ice cream sale fundraiser to benefit The Good Shepherd Home for Children in Cameroon that cares for orphans.

Trinity Cranford Episcopal Church is hosting a charity ice cream sale on Sunday September 17, 2017 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM in Sherlock Hall at Trinity Church, 119 Forest Avenue, Cranford, NJ. "Proceeds from the sale will benefit The Good Shepherd Home for Children in Cameroon that cares for orphaned children." said Marion Nechuta, Trinity's Outreach Team Leader. "We are happy to help support such important, life sustaining work. Trinity Cranford sponsors two of the orphans, Daniella and Musuga," Mrs. Nechuta continued.

The Good Shepherd Home is the brainchild of Sister Jane Mankaa who dedicates her life to nurturing the orphans of her country. It is located in the North West Province of Cameroon, an area with 50,000 orphaned children. Over 150 of them have found a home at Good Shepherd where they are sheltered, fed, clothed, educated and most of all, loved. Sister Jane does not turn any child away and no child is put up for adoption. The children truly live in a loving family environment with over 150 brothers and sisters. Trinity Episcopal Church was founded in 1872. Trinity is a faith-based family that welcomes all people and strives to “know Christ and to make him known through faith, fellowship, and service.” Sunday services are at 8 AM and 10 AM w/music and celebrated by The Reverend Andy Kruger, Trinity’s Priest-in-Charge. In addition, from Monday to Thursday the Daily Offices of Morning and Evening Prayer are led by Father Andy in the Witherington Chapel, in the church undercroft which is accessible by outside stairs at the right rear corner of the church. Morning Prayer starts at 8:30AM and Evening Prayer starts at 5:00 PM.
