Cranford Local Among 8 Arrested In Clark
A Cranford man was arrested for driving under the influence in Clark, according to the police blotter.

CLARK, NJ — A Cranford man was arrested for driving under the influence in Clark, according to the police blotter.
Oscar Santiesteban, 48, of Cranford was arrested on March 30 at 1:15 a.m. in the vicinity of 1207 Raritan Road, police report.
He was subsequently released pending a court date. Police Officer Joshua Weber was the arresting officer.

On March 26 at 11:15 a.m.: Police arrested Andre Thomas, 21, of Plainfield for shoplifting merchandise valued at $438.78 from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Ave. and for shoplifting merchandise valued at $29.95 from the Marshall’s Department Store at 77 Central Ave. He was also charged with resisting arrest, and he was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Alex Yanes and Police Officer Anthon Salas were the arresting officers.

On March 26 at 6:28 p.m.: At headquarters, police arrested Keiron Quallis, 41, of Westfield for fraud.
He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Det. Bruce McDonald was the arresting officer.
On March 28 at 12:22 a.m.: In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway northbound, police arrested Ridg Odige, 25, of Newark and John Ferne, 24, of Orange for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS). Both men were subsequently released on their own recognizance pending court dates. Police Officer Michael DeAngelo was the arresting officer.
On March 28 at 3:25 p.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Geoffrey Treadwell, 37, of Scotch Plains on an outstanding no-bail warrant from Essex County. He was subsequently transported to the Essex County Jail. Det. Brian Pereira was the arresting officer.
On March 30 at 2:32 a.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Kevin Tejada, 24, of West New York for DUI. He was subsequently released pending a court date. Police Officer Michael Hernandez was the arresting officer.
On March 30 at 5:51 p.m.: Police took a report of a theft of a wallet from the shopping cart of a patron of the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Ave. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Alexander Ruiz was the investigating officer.
On April 1 at 4:19 p.m.: Police arrested Dashaun Calhoun 24, of Roselle for shoplifting merchandise valued at $188.27 from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Ave. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Mazhar Elwardany was the arresting officer.
