Cranford Local Arrested For Shoplifting, Drugs In Clark
5 people were arrested for charged including shoplifting, burglary, drug possession and outstanding warrants in Clark, police report.

CLARK, NJ — A Cranford local was among five people to be arrested in Clark last week, according to the police blotter.
On Jan. 21 at 9:33 p.m., in the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway northbound, police arrested Brian Darling, 41, of Cranford for shoplifting from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Ave. in Clark.
He was also charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS), and he was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date, Clark police report.

On Jan. 16 at 10:49 a.m.: In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, police arrested Amir Gordon, 21, of Rahway
for possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS). He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Andrew Medeiros was the arresting officer.
On Jan. 17 at 2:50 p.m.: In the vicinity of Hawthorne Drive, police arrested Khiry Moody, 28, of Plainfield for burglary and criminal mischief. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.
Police Officer Sergio Henriques was the arresting officer.
On Jan. 18 at 3:10 p.m.: At 77 Central Ave., police arrested Jataiyah Rozelle, 25, of Elizabeth for hindering apprehension. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date. Police Officer Alex Ruiz was the arresting officer.
On Jan. 19 at 6:26 a.m.: A car was reported stolen that was parked at a home on Riverside Drive. The incident is under investigation. Police Officer Pedro Oliveira was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 20 at 4:08 p.m.: Police arrested Francine Latorraca, 58, of Aberdeen for shoplifting merchandise valued at $27.84 from the Target Department Store at 45 Central Ave. She was also detained on an outstanding warrant from Pennsylvania and subsequently transported to the Union County Jail. Police Officer Alex Ruiz was the arresting officer.
