Cranford Police Arrest 3 For DWI, Crack, Marijuana
Cranford Police arrested three people last week on charges of marijuana possession, cocaine possession and driving while intoxicated.

CRANFORD, NJ — Cranford Police arrested three people last week on charges of marijuana possession, cocaine possession and driving while intoxicated.
Cranford Police Blotter:
On March 14 at 11:32 a.m.: A 2000 Toyota was stopped at the intersection of North Avenue East and Elizabeth Avenue for a view obstruction. Following an investigation at the scene, Patrolman Gregory Federici arrested the driver, Shannen Garbiras, 19, of Roselle Park for suspected marijuana located inside the vehicle. She was charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams) and possession of paraphernalia, processed and released pending a municipal court appearance date. Additionally, she was issued motor vehicle summonses for a view obstruction and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.

On March 16 at 10:02 p.m.: Police units responded to a reported two-car motor vehicle crash near the 300 block of Centennial Avenue. Following an investigation on scene, Patrolman Jason D’Agostino arrested one of the drivers, Darrell Robinson, 60, of Irvington for driving while intoxicated. He was processed and released to a responsible adult with a pending municipal court appearance date. Additionally, he was charged with careless driving, failure to keep right, failure to maintain his lane and delaying traffic.
On March 17 at 6:29 p.m.: A 2002 Chevrolet was stopped at the intersection of North Avenue East and the Garden State Parkway 137 Exchange for a seat belt violation. Following an investigation at the scene, Patrolman John Rattigan arrested a passenger, Donald Williams, 61, of Irvington for suspected crack-cocaine found on his person. He was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia, processed and provided with a superior court appearance date. Williams was turned over to the Essex County Sheriff’s Department after further investigation revealed he had multiple arrest warrants.
