Cranford Residents Warned Of Fines, Continued Snow Removal Efforts Taking Place Downtown
Residents were asked to avoid the area while plowing continues.
CRANFORD, NJ — The Cranford Police Department is alerting residents of continued snow removal efforts on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Beginning at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, residents are asked to avoid the downtown area while the Department of Public Works removes snow. These efforts will continue into Wednesday morning.
By ordinance, residents and other property owners are also being reminded that they are required to remove snow and ice from public sidewalks immediately.

Nothing should be shoveled or blown back onto roadways. This creates a safety hazard and sets back the work already performed.
Sidewalks that are left uncleared can subject residents and property owners to fines, authorities said.
