Cranford residents enjoy two new stand up paddleboards purchased by the Cranford West Conservancy for use at the camp. The funds to purchase the boards were generously donated by the Cranford Jaycees.

We are also pleased to announce that we acquired a used Grumman canoe for the camp this year from a local family who sold it to us at well below market value. The canoe boards are a welcome addition to the fleet of water craft at the camp, which additionally include 3 johnboats and 2 kayaks.

Cranford West will be open this year to Cranford residents beginning July 4th weekend through Labor Day weekend.

The Cranford West Conservancy would like to express its gratitude to the Cranford Jaycees for their continued support of this unique facility over the past several years.

Cranford West is a unique outdoor camping facility located in Hope NJ, on scenic Silver Lake. It is owned and maintained by the Township for the exclusive enjoyment by Township residents. It provides families with a low cost and low tech vacation opportunity to “get away from it all”. Campers can boat, fish, hike, or just relax on the beach and eat.
