Dub's Subs Celebrates Grand Opening With Ribbon Cutting

The Downtown Management Corporation welcomed the hometown sub shop's opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony Monday morning.

Dub's Subs, a new local sandwich shop on North Avenue, celebrated its Grand Opening with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Monday morning. Downtown Management Corporation Chairman Michael Venditti, Downtown Director Kathleen Miller Prunty, and Commissioner Ed O'Malley partook in the ceremony with shop owner and Cranford resident John Wojtowicz.

The store has been in the works for nearly twenty years. Wojtowicz has longed for an authentic sub shop downtown for ages. With the opening of Dub's Subs, his dream is finally fulfilled.

"I'm a food fanatic," he said. "I used to travel 20 miles for a good sub. I wanted a home sandwich shop."
