Cranford Business Alliance Hosts Kick-Off Event

The Cranford Business Alliance announces its kickoff event featuring Kathleen Miller Prunty, the Director of the Cranford Downtown Management Office for 15 years.  Ms. Prunty will speak about the 2012 business initiatives for the Cranford Downtown Business District.

Ms. Prunty manages several economic revitalization and transit-oriented development projects generating close to $100 million of private investment. Cranford’s SID is comprised of approximately 300 businesses including retail and professional offices.  The Downtown Management Corporation provides business development programs for business owners, assists property owners with tenant recruitment, oversees public improvement projects and marketing downtown Cranford as an ideal location to invest, shop, work and live. Ms. Prunty is a past President of Downtown New Jersey and has been a panelist at numerous New Jersey ndevelopment seminars and conferences.

The June 14 Kickoff Event will take place at The Kilkenny House Restaurant & Pub, 112 South Avenue East, Cranford from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.  Members of the public are welcome to attend.

Founded by local business owners, the Alliance is a referral and networking resource for businesses in and around Cranford.  The Cranford Business Alliance (CBA) is organized as an association of unaffiliated businesses.
