Crime & Justice In Suburbia: The Motion Picture Version, a lecture by Dr. Philip Dolce

 Crime and Justice in Suburbia: The Motion Picture Version is a presentation/lecture by Bergen Community College history professor, Philip Dolce.  This presentation focuses on types of crimes that motion pictures depict in American suburbs and the various punishments meted out for these crimes.  Issues of class, race, and gender are discussed.  The role of suburban law enforcement, as portrayed by motion pictures, will also be presented.  FREE ADMISSION.  Wheelchair accessible .

The program is funded by the Horizons Speakers Bureau of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
