Frelinhuysen Arboretum is hosting Green Weekends: Get Started Gardening with Children. From a balcony whisky barrel to a brownstone backyard, we"ll help you find a way to the garden with your child this summer. Learn how to get started growing for healthy food choices, artful ideas, and crafty family projects. Using the Children's Branching Out! Garden as a backdrop, you and your child practice basic garden skills and plan your own family garden. By the time you leave your thumbs will turn green! This event will take place Sunday, June 17, 2012 from 10 am - 12:30pm at 53 Hanover Ave, Whippany.
