Beyond the exhibition, the involved artists plan to work with Rahway Arts District, Inc. to create a community-based arts project, in addition to teaching a workshop for kids on graffiti-style lettering. The workshop will teach basic lettering skills that kids can develop and personalize over time. An emphasis will be placed on finding a positive outlet for creativity and discouraging vandalism. A nominal fee will be charged for each workshop participant. The date of the workshop is still to be determined, but interested individuals can email rahwayartsdistrict@gmail.com or call 732-540-1075 for more information.
