Meet the Author, Dr. Paul J. Lioy

The Cranford Historical Society is proud to present Dr. Paul J. Lioy, author of “Dust: The Inside Story of its Role in the September 11th Aftermath” on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 2:30pm. Doors open at 2:00pm. There will be a discussion and book signing. 

 

“Dust: The Inside Story of its Role in the September 11th Aftermath” is a book written for the public about scientific issues that arose during the World Trade Center aftermath, and the lessons we need to still learn or better understand to deal with natural or terrorist catastrophes.  Dr. Paul J. Lioy is a Cranford resident and for the past 25 years has conducted research at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School-UMDNJ and is currently a Professor of Environmental and Occupational Medicine.   Dr. Lioy is also the Deputy Director of the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute (EOHSI), Piscataway, NJ.
