As part of the five-day Union County Fair, MusicFest starts on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Oak Ridge Park in Clark and wraps up the festivities with New Jersey Day, Sunday, September 18, 2011. Free MusicFest concerts are featured throughout the fair. MusicFest features 4 stages of non-stop music with local and national and inter-national acts such as Collective Soul (Friday, 9/16/11), Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes (Sunday, 9/18/11), The Smithereens (9/18/11) and international recording stars Blondie will take the stage at MusicFest on Saturday (9/17/11).
The Union County Fair also features a full scale carnival, children’s activities, and many other attractions including the Rock on! Walkathon and 5K Rock ‘n’ Run fundraisers to fight cancer in partnership with the Love, Hope, Strength Foundation and The Valerie Fund, which is based in Union County.
