For their Silver
Award project, Cranford Girl Scout Cadette Troop 40362 is hosting an outdoor
self-esteem fair on June 30th from 10 am- 1 pm near the footbridge
in Nomahegan Park, Cranford. This free event
is geared towards boosting the self-esteem of young girls between ages
9-14. Booths will be set up with
volunteers from a variety of public and community establishments providing
educational information and fun activities relating to nutrition, physical exercise,
mental health, family & friends support systems and
healthy self-esteem. In case of rain, the event will be held at the 1st
Presbyterian Church, Bates Hall 11 Springfield Avenue,
Cranford.
