Every Friday evening, AAI presents lectures, demos, and viewing of planets, nebulae, and star clusters at Sperry Observatory or in a venue at Union County College, 1033 Springfield Avenue, Cranford. This evening's meeting will have guest speaker Dr. Dale Gary whose presentation will be about cutting-edge solar research. Dr. Gary's lecture will be in the Roy Smith Theater on the UCC campus followed by views of the night sky through two large telescopes at the observatory. Refreshments will be served at the observatory. This event is free and open to the public. Dr. Gary's talk begins at 8:00 p.m. The observatory is open until 10:30 p.m. for celestial observations.
