
Urban Farm Dinners (a project of Groundwork Elizabeth) will host its inaugural event “An Urban Farm Dinner Pig Roast with Andrea Carbine of A Toute Heure” on Sunday, October 16th from 3:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Portuguese Instructive Social Club in Elizabeth, NJ. Urban Farm Dinners are a benefit dinner series that celebrates local gardens and farms, raises awareness of urban agriculture and supplies critical resources to support a sustainable urban food supply. Proceeds from this event benefit www.comegrowwithus.org and the building of a hydroponic greenhouse in Elizabeth with Nova Mocidade of the Portuguese Instructive Social Club.
