Young Playwrights Competition Winners Original Plays Performed

This year's winners of the Young Playwrights Competition plays will be performed on Sunday, March 6, 2011 beginning at 3:00pm.  The winners are: Janine Puhak resident of Cranford and attends Mount Saint Mary Academy in Watchung received first prize, Lauren Friezo resident of Montclair and attends Kimberly Academy in Montclair received second prize.  In the Third Prize catagoery there was a tie between Victoria Grayner of Dumont and student at Dumont High School and Arthur Mezzo and Melanie Cucciolio both of Mountainside and both attend Governor Livingston High School in Berkeley Heights.   This performance will take place at the Roy Smith Theater, 1033 Springfield Avenue, Cranford.  There will be a discussion following the performance and admission is free.  For more information visist www.TheTheaterProject.org.  All are welcome.
