HOLIDAY HOOP-LA WESTFIELD AREA Y OFFERS 4TH-8TH GRADE TRIP TO HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS

The Westfield Area Y is excited to offer 4th-8th graders the opportunity to see The Harlem Globetrotters over winter break on Tuesday, December 30th from 9:30 am – 5:00 pm. The Harlem Globetrotters is an exhibition basketball team with a world famous tradition of ball handling wizardry, basketball artistry and one-of-a-kind family entertainment that continues to thrill fans of all ages.

Participants will spend the morning in the gym of the Main Y facility, 220 Clark Street with basketball and other activities followed by lunch which includes pizza, drink and a snack. The group will then depart at 12:15 pm for the Prudential Center and may even have a chance to take pre-game photos on the court! Pick-up is at 5:00 pm at the Main Y Facility.

The Westfield Area Y is committed to serving teens and pre-teens of our community through structured, well planned and supervised activities that help build spirit, mind and body while reinforcing the character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
