Hypodermic Needles, Heroin, Crack-Cocaine Recovered In Cranford
Cranford Police reported making 2 arrests for possession of hypodermic needles, heroin and crack-cocaine.

CRANFORD, NJ — Cranford Police reported making two arrests for possession of hypodermic needles, heroin and crack-cocaine.
Cranford Police Blotter:
On May 1 at 1:46 p.m.: A 2008 Cadillac was stopped on North Avenue East near John Street for an inspection violation. Following an investigation at the scene, Patrolman Ryan Gerrity arrested the driver, Gerardo Quaglietta, 44, of Springfield for hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia located in the vehicle. He was charged with possession of hypodermic needles and possession of drug paraphernalia, processed and provided with a municipal court appearance date. Additionally, he was issued motor vehicle summonses for no inspection sticker and failure to have a valid driver’s license in his possession.

On May 1 at 3:20 p.m.: A 2002 Infiniti was stopped at the intersection of Centennial Avenue and Cranford Hall for failing to maintain their lane. Following an investigation at the scene, Patrolman Matthew Siessel arrested the driver, Justine Mattioli, 32, of Keyport for suspected prescription legend drugs, heroin, crack-cocaine and a hypodermic needle located inside the vehicle. She was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of prescription legend drugs, possession of a hypodermic syringe and possession of paraphernalia, processed and released pending a superior court appearance date. Additionally, she was issued motor vehicle summonses for careless driving and driving with a suspended license.
