A NEW CONCEPT IN OVER-40 FITNESS ARRIVES IN GARWOOD

GARWOOD, N.J. — The public is invited to join in a Grand Opening Celebration for Active Life Fitness (ALF), the area’s premier over-40 fitness venue, beginning at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30, at its stylish and newly equipped facility, located at 155 South Ave.

Geared toward improving the lives of people over 40 seeking an active and healthy lifestyle, ALF offers a unique, convenient and targeted approach to overall fitness. Featuring individual goal setting, a comprehensive training program, unlimited classes and no-appointment coaching, ALF delivers a personalized, results-oriented experience that can’t be matched in a traditional health club setting.

The Grand Opening Celebration is not to be missed with half-hour sampler classes of ALF’s Metabolic Conditioning workout (6:30 and 7:30 p.m.) and ALF’s Complete Strength workout at (7 p.m.). The first 20 attendees to arrive will receive free ALF t-shirts. Raffles will be drawn throughout the evening, with prizes including one-month, VIP memberships to ALF, as well as gift cards for Ferraro’s Restaurant, the Westfield Running Company and other local businesses. Complimentary chair massages will be offered by Laura Hills of Take Care With Laura, and Taste for Nutrition’s Kim Hinderliter will be on hand to offer ideas for healthy pre- and post-workout meals. In addition, the Juice House of Garwood will provide samples of its juices and other wholesome delights.
