Saturday evening April 27,2019 at 7:30 PM Father Andy, Kruger will be celebrating a Stations of the Resurrection Holy Eucharist service at Trinity Episcopal Church, 119 Forest Avenue, Cranford, NJ. Stations of the Resurrection, also known as the Way of Light, emerged in the latter part of the twentieth century as complementary devotion to the Stations of the Cross. As with the Stations of the Cross, the people move around the church from station to station, reading an appropriate Bible passage and meditating on it. By using the Jesus Christ’s resurrection appearances as a focus for reflection and meditation we have an opportunity to appreciate and celebrate the Easter mysteries of the resurrection of our Lord. The Service takes place in the context of a Festal Holy Eucharist (incense will be used) with opportunities to sing the great Easter hymns led by Anthony Rafaniello, Supervisor of the Fine and Performing Arts Programs for the Cranford School System, on the organ. All are welcome!
