WESTFIELD AREA Y OFFERS FREE LECTURE ON OBAMACARE: UNCOMPLICATE THE COMPLICATED

The Westfield Area Y is offering an informative lecture on “Obamacare: Uncomplicate the Complicated” on Wednesday, January 14th from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Main Y Facility, 220 Clark Street in Westfield.

The lecture is presented by Hank Segal, a licensed broker authorized to help individuals and small businesses on both the federal and state exchanges. Mr. Segal will explain the law and how you can maximize the benefits the law provides and avoid the pitfalls. He will address topics on what happens if you make a mistake on the healthcare.gov internet site and put yourself in a position where you can’t get insurance for a period of time. He will provide information on how the government in some cases will actually give you money to help you pay the premium and in some cases they will not only help you pay for the premium but also lower you’re deducible and co-pays from the plan you choose.

The Affordable Care Act is over 1800 pages, one of the most complicated pieces of legislation that has ever been passed. Very few people actually know what the pitfalls and the benefits of the law actually are. Mr. Segal will provide a wealth of information on this topic.
