Calico Cat Preschool Now Enrolling for Fall 2026

Calico Cat Preschool, a long‑standing ministry of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in South River, is now accepting enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year. Celebrating its 46th year of service to children and families across Middlesex County, Calico Cat continues its tradition of providing high‑quality early childhood education for ages 2-6 in a warm, community‑centered environment.

The preschool’s director, Kimberly Klitzke‑DeSarno, is a lifelong member of Holy Trinity, a retired public school teacher, and a proud Calico Cat parent herself. Generations of families continue to choose Calico Cat, with adult alumni now enrolling their own children. Local public school teachers frequently recommend the preschool and often enroll their children as well, citing strong kindergarten readiness and the school’s nurturing, neighborhood feel.

In addition to academic and social development, Calico Cat supports the spiritual life of its children and families. At a time when Sunday church attendance is declining nationwide, the preschool offers weekly spiritual enrichment for children of all faith backgrounds. Students learn to feel comfortable participating in simple church rituals, asking questions, singing hymns, and exploring Bible stories in age‑appropriate ways.
