DWI, Stolen Car Involved In East Brunswick Crash, Cops Say

A March 10 crash at the intersection of Milltown Road and Ryders Lane involved a stolen car and a drunk driver, East Brunswick cops said.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — A March 10 double car crash at the intersection of Milltown Road and Ryders Lane involved a stolen car and a drunk driver, East Brunswick police said.

The first crash originally occurred at that intersection. Then police say the driver of the car, Bradley Chaney, 30, of Colonia, drove away and crashed into a parked car in a residential driveway on Milltown Road. Police say the car he was driving was stolen, and Chaney was also under the influence at the time.

He was arrested and charged with DWI and assault by auto. His companion, Lauri Duffy, 27, of Keyport, was also charged with giving false information. She was wanted for outstanding warrants in Middlesex and Monmouth counties. They were both charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
