East Brunswick Police Dept. Accredited By The State

The East Brunswick police department is recognized as an Accredited Police Department by the NJ Association of Chiefs of Police.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — East Brunswick Police Chief James Conroy is proud to announce that the East Brunswick police department has recently been recognized as an Accredited Police Department by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police Accreditation Commission.

Accreditation status represents a significant professional achievement for the East Brunswick police department. It is awarded to police agencies that demonstrate their commitment to implementing policies and procedures that are conceptually sound and operationally effective to provide the finest services to a community.

At the July 22 East Brunswick town council meeting, at 8 p.m., representatives from the New Jersey Association of Chiefs of Police will present Chief Conroy and his staff with an official certificate of accreditation.

As Patch previously reported, East Brunswick Police Chief Conroy will retire this summer, and be replaced by Lieutenant Frank LoSacco, a 31-year-member of the East Brunswick Police Department, who was born and still lives in East Brunswick.
