East Brunswick Police Report Uptick In Car Thefts

Police have asked residents to remain vigilant and take precautions in protecting their personal property.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The East Brunswick Police Department said they are seeing an uptick in car thefts and burglaries over the past several months.

“We would like to urge the community to take precautions in protecting your property,” the department said.

The police are running the “Lock it to Stop it” campaign with an aim to bring awareness on taking precautions in protecting personal property.

“We have received tremendous feedback with this program and now we are asking to spread the word. Spread your many ideas on keeping your own belongings safe to neighbors and friends,” the Police department said.
