EB Indie Gears Up for their 4th Annual Film Festival

Lights, camera action! The EB Indie film Festival will be hosting their fourth annual film festival inside the East Brunswick Community Arts Center on Saturday, August 3 at 12 PM. It’s the biggest event of the year for people of all ages to enjoy short films created by emerging filmmakers. It will be a slate of 14 selected short films from a wide range of genres such as narrative films, documentaries, animations and so much more!

These short films were submitted by filmmakers from around the world and have been reviewed and selected by a handful of jury members who have professional experience in the entertainment industry. At the end of the showcase, there will be an awards ceremony to celebrate those who have excelled with their innovation, creativity and technical level on their short films. For audience members, it’s a chance to sit back, enjoy and have a chance to watch unique storytelling.

The EB Indie Film Festival is a non-profit organization that began in 2020. It originally started as a drive-in film festival by two East Brunswick residents, Emily Eng and Kevin Lin, who wanted to share their love for movies. For four years, EB Indie has grown and continues to engage with their community by offering their annual film festival, hosting Q&A’s with professional filmmakers and running their own summer film camp for young aspiring filmmakers. EB Indie would not have continued for so long thanks to the support of their sponsors, the EB Arts Coalition, EB Arts Commission, Walmart and MediaCutlet.
