Updated Result:Democrats, Incumbents Sweep Elections In East Brunswick
The Middlesex County Board of Elections released an updated tally of the 2022 election on Monday.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — The final results of the 2020 election are here. The Middlesex County Board of Elections released the final tally of the 2022 election on Monday.
All three incumbents - Heather Guas, Mark Csizmar and Liwu Hong swept the Board of Education elections.

- Mark Csizmar: 8,384
- Liwu Hong: 7,319
- Heather Allison Guas: 6,024
- Alexander Spielman: 5,858
- Joseph "Yosef" Schmidt: 4,010
In the Council election, Democrats held the lead over their Republican challengers. Incumbents were voted back into office, and residents put a newcomer, Dana Winston, on the Council.

- Dana Zimbicki (D): 8,915
- Dana Winston (D): 8,677
- James Wendell (D): 8,667
- Antoinette Evola (R): 6,761
- Joseph Kincaid (R): 6,879
- David Herrera (R): 6,950
- Neal Shah (R): 6,805
To make the tally official, the final certification of the results must be done by Nov. 26.
