Learn About Healthy Family Foods at East Brunswick Public Library

East Brunswick Public Library hosts the program "Easy Peasy: Quick and Healthy Family Foods" on November 19.

Healthy snacking and eating can be a challenge for many parents and guardians. To help families learn how easy it is to eat better, East Brunswick Public Library (2 Jean Walling Civic Center, East Brunswick) hosts the program "Easy Peasy: Quick and Healthy Family Foods" on Monday, November 19 at 10:30 am.

The program is led by Laura Vetter, RDN, CDE, CSP of St. Peter's University Hospital of New Brunswick, NJ, who is a registered dietitian with expertise in pediatric nutrition. She will share easy and healthy snacks that every family will enjoy. Other topics discussed involve how to make better choices when shopping for pre-packaged snacks and meals.

Following the presentation, there will be a question and answer period, as well as a healthy snack. Young children are welcome to attend with their caretaker.
