Man Found Dead In Thursday Morning House Fire In East Brunswick
No firefighter or police officer was injured. Though the investigation is on, the fire does not seem to be suspicious, police said.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — A man was found dead after an early morning blaze ripped through an apartment in East Brunswick Thursday, police said.
Around 4:24 a.m. on Thursday, East Brunswick police along with all three fire districts responded to the apartments on Lake Avenue for the report of a fire.
On arrival, first responders began work to extinguish the blaze and found an unresponsive man inside the home, police said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identification is pending notification to family, police said.

According to initial investigation the fire does not seem to be suspicious in nature. Police did not release any other information.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Crispin Farrace of the East Brunswick Police Department at 732-390-6990.
