Man Sought In String Of TD Bank Burglaries, Police Say

The man, who broke into a Howell branch Monday night, is wanted in burglaries at branches in Marlboro, Hazlet and Old Bridge, police said.

The Howell Township Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man, seen in surveillance photos above, who smashed a window at the TD Bank on Route 9 and stole change.

The burglary happened Monday evening about 11:20 p.m., Howell Detective Sgt. Christian Antunez said, and is similar to burglaries at TD Bank branches in Old Bridge, Hazlet and Marlboro that have occurred in the last week, he said.

On Monday night, the man smashed a large side window at the branch at 4280 Route 9 south, then forced his way in and pried open the coin-counting machine to steal the change, Antunez said.
