SPOTSWOOD, NJ — A group of men were charged last Saturday with drinking inside the American Legion hall in Spotswood, the New Jersey Attorney General announced. Earlier this spring, the men had been warned not to drink inside that American Legion post.
Barry Korsak, 57, of Monroe, Richard Luecke, 53, and Bruce Egbert, 59, both of Spotswood, were charged by Spotswood police last Saturday, May 16. The three men had been previously warned by police, and Korsak was previously cited on May 3. The men were not arrested, but issued summonses to appear in court, similar to a traffic ticket.
All bars, restaurants and American Legion halls have remained closed due to Gov. Murphy's emergency orders.
