Middlesex Magnet Schools Celebrate New Era At East Bruswick Campus
Middlesex County Magnet Schools serves around 2,200 high school students.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ – Members of the Middlesex County Magnet Schools gathered on the East Brunswick campus Wednesday to celebrate the new name and visual identity.
The celebrations, held at the Vocational-Technical Schools of Middlesex County, saw members of the community and students gather to raise the new flag, signaling a new era for the school district.
The event featured student performers and speaks including County Commissioner Ronald G. Rios; BOE president Keith Jones; Superintendent Jorge Diaz among others.

In June, the County renamed the Middlesex County Vocational and Technical Schools to Middlesex County Magnet Schools.
County officials said the new name accurately represents the specialized education the schools offer students.

With six schools located on five campuses throughout the County, Middlesex County Magnet Schools serves around 2,200 high school students and roughly 400 adult students annually.
