New East Brunswick Mayor Sworn In
Retired teacher and former school board member Kevin McEvoy was hand-picked by the Council.

East Brunswick, NJ - With the resignation of East Brunswick Mayor David Stahl to become a judge in Woodbridge, interim mayor Kevin McEvoy was sworn in Tuesday.
The council selected McEvoy to be mayor, and he had to resign from his elected position on the township school board to take the job. McEvoy will serve out the rest of the 11-month term and the position of mayor will come up for election in November.
He is a retired teacher.
