Residents can give away usable items they no longer need and take anything someone doesn't want.
EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ - Spring is the perfect time to rid your home of unwanted items. The Friends of the East Brunswick Environmental Commission is hosting a township-wide curbside freecycling event on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., in residents' yards and driveways.
Residents have the opportunity to give away usable items they no longer need or want. They can also take anything someone doesn't want. The event is free and will help keep unused items from filling the already crowded landfills.
All items must be offered for free. At the end of the event, the remaining items are the responsibility of the owner and must be properly removed or disposed of in accordance with township rules and regulations. All participating households must be in East Brunswick.
